Oxnard College, an accredited California community college, has been part of the Ventura County Community College District since 1975. Located just two miles from Pacific Ocean beaches, Oxnard College is part of the largest and most vibrant city in Ventura County with a multicultural diversity that gives our campus a unique and exciting student life.
Oxnard College provides approximately 7,000 students a year with academically excellent, affordable undergraduate study and career technical education programs. Students may choose from more than 60 disciplines of study, culminating in transfer degrees, associate degrees, and certificates. Oxnard College has strong articulation agreements with the University of California and California State University systems, as well as transfer partnerships with private universities and colleges.
Oxnard College has some of the state’s leading occupational programs, including an esteemed regional Fire Academy and nationally recognized Dental Hygiene program. Since 1997, 100 hundred percent of Oxnard College Dental Hygiene graduates have passed all state and national board licensure exams and are working in the sector at excellent salaries. Oxnard College is also home to leading athletic programs, including a 2016 California CCCAA State Championship Men’s Soccer team.
