Men’s Soccer’s Soccer Season Ends with Pride

When the whistle blew on Friday night at the VC Sportsplex, the scoreboard read 2-1 in favor of Fresno City College.

A full recap of the game is covered in the Ventura County Star online.

Even though our defending California State champs were unable to advance to the CCCAA Championship match for the second year in a row, they brought Oxnard College and their fans great pride. After winning the first state championship at OC, on the 40th anniversary of the College, the team came together to prove that they can compete at the highest levels of collegiate sport.

Head Coach Ross Greaney has elevated the Condors to a championship level. After five straight WSC championships and back-to-back Final Four appearances, OC is now the destination for local aspiring soccer athletes.

Thank you to our incredible athletes, coaches and entire campus community for the support you have given our team!
