OC Student Crowned Miss Ventura County


Oxnard College Student Amanda Castellanos-Rodriguez crowned Miss Ventura County 2017

Congratulations to current Oxnard College student Amanda Castellanos-Rodriguez who was crowned Miss Ventura County 2017 on Sunday, February 26 in the Preus-Brandt Forum at California Lutheran University. Amanda competed against 11 other women ages 18-24. Each contestant was required to answer an on-the-spot question, model evening wear, and display lifestyle and fitness finesse. In addition, all the participants presented a talent. Amanda “wowed” the audience with her dance folklorico in authentic costume. Next up — the Miss California contest in June!
